Mozilla Webmaker in Cambodia!

Mozilla is quite well-known all over the world. Millions of users are now using products of Mozilla. To give a short example, Firefox, is one of the products of Mozilla and the most fascinating internet browsers that is available for free. Its unique feature is the promise to privacy of its user, and of course from my experience, it is working to its promise which means no other internet browser could make it like Firefox.

Another feature products of Mozilla is Webmaker which is a very useful online platform and the tool itself for dummy-coders or even as limited as a non-coders to be able to create online content, post, and share it out loud even though they do not know any gist of the coding languages. The tools are as simple as clicks, drags and drops.

A week ago, simply say on June 13, 2015, I took part in a Mozilla event conducted at Development Innovation in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It was only a one-day workshop on the topic of Mozilla Webmaker yet a very extraordinary experience I could learn from the team. An online mobile tool was introduce to the 30 participants and an android smart phone was also provided to the trainees so they could learn and put things into practices right at the same time.

 About Webmaker on Android

Webmaker on Android application made blogging as easy as it could be. The users only need to download the application from the link provided below, create their own webmaker account and enjoy the application.

The screenshot below highlights various screens and functions of the Android Webmaker application which I would say the most simple way to create content online. A page-to-page design makes it easier for us to jump and view content. To start of each page, there are simple three basic buttons for you to choose what you want to include into your page, and the buttons are text, image, and button. One can puts as many text, images, and buttons as they wish as long as the screen and the page could hold. Once done, the pages could then be shared to people either directly through the phone or online.

To speak of it, I would say Webmaker is the breakthrough I have been waiting for, well, even this may sound absurd and weird for most people, but who knows, it is the easiest myself-friendly tool I have ever met. And, of course, I would recommend people who consider themselves dummies in blogging, just like me, to try it out.
